Sensi Star is a strong indica bred by Paradise Seeds in the Netherlands in the late 1990s. The cultivar took multiple Cannabis Cup placements through the early 2000s, establishing itself as one of the foundational European indicas alongside Northern Lights and White Widow. Flowers carry an unusual aroma — sweet metallic citrus over earthy undertones — that distinguishes Sensi Star from contemporaneous Kush-pedigree indicas. Effects are heavy and physically-focused: body sedation, appetite stimulation, with mild cerebral euphoria, in the canonical European indica profile. THC tests commonly land in the 18-24% range. The cultivar remains stocked across California legal markets as a heritage indica option and is one of the more-recognizable Paradise Seeds releases.
