Terms of service

Strainline operates strainline.app, an independent price comparison service for legal adult-use cannabis in California and Oregon. We collect prices that dispensaries publish on their own public menus and present them ranked cheapest first.

We are not a dispensary, a delivery service, or a broker. We do not sell cannabis, hold inventory, process orders, or take payment for any product listed on this site. Every purchase happens directly between you and a licensed dispensary, on that dispensary’s own terms.

This site is for adults aged 21 or over in a jurisdiction where adult-use cannabis is legal. By using it you confirm you meet that requirement. Cannabis remains illegal under United States federal law regardless of state law.

Every price shown is an observation: what a dispensary’s public menu said at the moment we read it. It is not a quote, not an offer, and not a guarantee of what you will be charged.

Prices shown here may differ from the price you pay because:

• menu prices generally exclude taxes, delivery and service fees, which vary by jurisdiction
• a dispensary can change a price at any time without notice
• a product listed as in stock may already be sold out, since a menu is not a live inventory feed
• our reading of a menu can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and some data is older than others

Always confirm availability and the final price with the dispensary before you buy. Our methodology explains how the figures are produced and what we do not claim.

Cheapest-first rankings are computed only from price, product tier, weight and cultivation method. No dispensary or brand can pay to rank higher, to change a displayed price, or to be removed from a ranking. If we ever show sponsored placement it will be labeled as such and kept entirely separate from ranked results.

You may use Strainline for personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may quote or cite our figures with attribution and a link. You may not scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy the site, resell the data, misrepresent where a figure came from, interfere with the site’s operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. If you want the data in bulk, ask us instead.

Links to dispensary menus and other third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content, prices or practices, and their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave Strainline.

If you operate a dispensary and something we publish about you is incorrect, including your name, address, hours, menu or prices, email hello@strainline.app and tell us what is wrong. We will correct verified errors and, if you ask us to, remove your listing.

Strainline is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure on it is accurate, complete or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strainline and anyone working on it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the site, whether or not we were advised of the possibility. This includes reliance on any price, ranking, statistic or availability shown here.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
