Released around 2013, the cultivar is a foundational parent of the broader Gelato pedigree — Gelato itself, Mochi, Lemon Cherry Gelato, and dozens of subsequent Cookies-line hybrids all trace genetics through Sherbet. Flowers carry a sweet creamy aroma layered over mild berry and fruit undertones. Effects are balanced: cerebral euphoria paired with mild body relaxation. THC tests commonly land in the 18-24% range. Sherbet remains one of the most-cloned cultivars on California shelves and a defining release of the early-2010s Cookies-line wave that reshaped the broader hybrid market.
